I only blogged just this morning before I left, but I realized that I have actually done more than that. The day after we went on the walk in the countryside, I accompanied Manuela on a field trip to Nürnberg and before leaving I had no idea where we were going! But we went to this blindness-awareness centre or something? I actually don't know what the technical term for this place would be. Anyway, there was this dark obstacle course or something that you would walk through and you would have to feel what's around you and make sure you don't fall/run into anything. It was scary! I kept on blinking at first, hoping that the light would come back, but it never did. And after a while in there you kinda got used to it, but I could never imagine going blind for the rest of my life. It was really cool :) (if that's the right word) Then we went to to the Wöhrder Wiese park in Nürnberg and just chilled and ate a bit of snacks and stuff. It was pretty good, but I didn't know very many people there. The following day (Wednesday 21/07) we went to Nürnberg in the evening, we did a very little bit of site-seeing. Like, as in, we went to the castle and stood on the patio thing and looked over the city. It was really beautiful! I'm not sure if it's just the persepective we were at or anything, but it seems like German cities seem to have different skylines than North American. There doesn't seem to be any sky-scrapers. I don't know though, maybe when we actually go to a big city like Berlin or Munich I'll see some skyscrapers :D. Anyway, it was fun to just chill. Then I finally got to see Erlangen on thursday. We did a little bit of shopping, just me and Manu. It was fun :)
On the weekend I did a little partying, and maybe too much? I died on Sunday, and it has actually developed into some sort of flu or cold from being in the cold too much! Anyway, I'm getting better. It's Wednesday now, and this has been the best day since Sunday, but I'm still feeling no better than average. I'm sure I'll recover soon :D
